Pioneers - The women of Fluxus
Gothenburg Museum of Art is hosting a Fluxus show this year. We were asked to design a serie of promotional material for the exhibition.
"Fluxus was an international, interdisciplinary community of artists, composers, designers and poets during the 1960s and 1970s who engaged in experimental art performances which emphasized the artistic process over the finished product." – Wikipedia.
In our work we wanted to focus on the women of Fluxus.
Progress: We made a movie to arouse interest. The movie was followed by flyers that were handed out before the exhibition. Merch was in the form of totebags and pins.
We created an guerilla campaign in true Fluxus spirit and adorned the outside with just simple FLUXUS letters and printed a well-known quote said by Willem de Ridder on the inside.
